Football Reflection, Term 4 2024

Name: Daetyn.

For Physical Education this term, I have been learning how to play football with Lottie, Lisa and Ava.

We played games to learn football skills. My favourite game was the big game of football with boys vs girls because i like shooting and playing competitive games.

I have learnt to skill players and shoot better. 

I focused on improving my shooting and being a goalie.

The most challenging part of learning football was playing against Lottie Ava and Lisa.

I enjoyed playing the big game of football.

Are you interested in playing football for a club, Winter Sport or in your breaks nah not really because i already play rugby league and i don’t like non contact sport.

I have shown the RISE value of resilience because when it was really hot I kept going and scored the winning try to win the game.

For the last few weeks at Monday mashup we have been doing Maori string art.Maori string art is about getting string and tying it to make a loop.And then you watch some videos on how to do different ways. the first way I learnt was the drum and also the only one I know how to do😂.Its so fun because sometimes you can turn it into a trap and trap your friends.

For action stations I chose rugby league it is really fun and we played touch and I learnt a better way to pass. You can also get better foot work and play fun games.Have you ever played rugby league?

For the last three weeks in math we have been learning about earthquakes.We had to make a stem and leaf graph to show you how much depth some earthquakes have had.We also had to do a tally chart about the intensity of earthquakes.have you learned about earthquakes.

for math we have been learning about sitisticil investigation and we had to make a Google form and send it to everyone and see what they pick.For my group we chose to do most common eye colors.The people in my group was Elijah.The most common eye color was brown and the least common eye color is blue in one eye and gray in the other.And the second most common eye color is Hazel.What eye color do you have?

Today for math we Rotated patterns,reflected patterns and also transforming.The shapes we used was the moon and  triangles then arrows.Rotating a pattern means that you are moving the shapes different ways.Reflecting a pattern means your using the same pattern but you are turning it around.

for inquiry  the last few weeks we have been learning about actions The action I took was climate change my group chose climate change because we want animals to have nice habitats to live in and the polar bears and more animals are dying because the icebergs are melting.My group has Me Elijah Dylan and River.I chose that group because we all are friends and we also work good as a team and help each other when we don’t understand.Climate change is important to us because we all like animals and want them to have a good place to live and for them to stay alive.Do you take any actions?

Today for Monday mashup i chose Ki-o rahi we learnt about the purakau  (narrative) of the game and then had to go.I found it easy because our whole team was communicating and working together.i showed resilience because i did not give up.I also showed sportsmanship by encouraging my team mates.I recommend Ki-o Rahi because it is fun and good to play with friends.

Today CRT was in for my class so we did digital art and i did a custom gradient background and to make the mountains and other things like that.I used shapes for the moon and stars and i used polygon lines to create my garage.

Today for Monday mash up i chose to do Chrome music lab.Chrome music lab contains of a lot of different types of music and I chose to do song maker there are many other options such as Kandinsky Rhythm and shared piano there are much more to choose from.To use song ,maker you just click a piece on the screen and it will make a noise if you don’t like it you can click on it again and it will be gone.When you press a button up high it will be high pitch and if you click it down low it will be deep.
